What are the opening hours?
We are open daily from 12:00 to 22:00; on Fridays and Saturdays until 23:00.
How do I reach the market by public transportation?
For your visit you can use the underground lines U2/U6 (Stadtmitte), bus 200 (stops U Stadtmitte or Jerusalemer Str.), the U2 (stop Hausvogteiplatz) as well as bus 147 (stop Werderscher Markt).
Are there parking facilities nearby?

Can I reserve seats in the restaurants?
Yes, seats can be reserved directly with the restaurateurs. More info HERE
Can I buy tickets online?
Yes, tickets can be purchased online HERE. Please note the advance booking fee.
Are there group rates?
No, we are not currently offering special group rates.
How can I purchase tickets for a group?
Larger ticket quantities can also be purchased conveniently via our online shop. You will receive the tickets as individual PDF files.
Can I pay by debit card or digitally?
Yes, cashless payment is generally possible. In the gastronomic area, card payment is accepted throughout. At the artisan stalls, however, this cannot be guaranteed everywhere—so we recommend also bringing some cash.
Can I visit the market in a wheelchair?
Yes, our market is wheelchair-accessible.
Are there accessible restrooms?
Yes, we provide accessible restrooms. You will find them in the area of the regular restroom facilities; there is also a baby-changing table there.
Do I have to pay admission?
Admission is €2. Exceptions are weekdays between 12:00 and 15:00 as well as 24, 25 and 26 December—during these times admission is free. Children under 12, senior citizens and people with disabilities are generally admitted free of charge.
How are the admission fees used?
With your admission you support the artistic program of the event as well as social projects in the Berlin-Mitte district (all admission fees collected on Thursdays are donated in full to social projects—for example the Stephanus School, the Jenny De la Torre Foundation, or the Children’s Classical Gala at the Konzerthaus Berlin). In addition, the proceeds help ensure your safety during your visit.
May I bring my dog?
As a rule, dogs are not permitted, with the exception of necessary assistance dogs such as guide dogs. Please carry the appropriate ID for this purpose.
What am I NOT allowed to bring onto the market?
Please refrain from bringing racist, xenophobic or radical propaganda material; weapons of any kind; pyrotechnic items; containers made of fragile or shattering material; food and beverages; animals (except guide dogs); and backpacks or bags with a capacity of more than 15 liters onto the premises. Furthermore, audio or video recording devices for the purpose of commercial use are not permitted without our prior authorization.
How big can my backpack be?
Only small daypacks or bags are permitted that are no larger than A4 size (approx. 15 liters in volume). Larger luggage is not permitted.
Is there a luggage storage facility?
No. We ask for your understanding that no luggage storage is available.
Are there any offers for children?
No, there are no special offers specifically for children. However, the stage program is child-friendly.
